New leaks have surfaced about theGalaxy S25 series expected to be launched by Samsung in January 2025, including the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra.
The leaks suggest that the Galaxy S25 Ultra will come in three tiers: Basic, Medium, and High.
The entry-level model will come with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage, while the mid-range model will come with 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage, according to Neowin, which specializes in technology news.
The top tier will have the same 16GB of RAM as the mid-range, but its storage capacity will be one terabyte.
This means two things, the first is that the mid-range and top tiers come with more RAM than their counterparts in the Galaxy S24 Ultra series launched this year.
Secondly, those interested in purchasing the Galaxy S25 Ultra may not need to opt for the higher tier to get 16GB of RAM, as it’s available in the mid-range as well.
Other leaks reported that Samsung may increase the prices of the Galaxy S25 Ultra, but this may not apply to the rest of the Galaxy S25 series.
Reports also indicated that “Samsung” may add a new device to the series bearing the name “Galaxy S25 Slim”, to compete with the “iPhone 17 Air” that Apple is expected to launch in the “iPhone 17” series to be its thinnest phone ever.
